Its officially here! The new Bluebird Kisses Site has launched {as you surely can see for yourselves}.
For the past few months talented web designer, Shay Bocks has been working on re-vamping the overall look of the blog but also adding in some extra special features.
Before I go through the details of the GIVEAWAY {trust me you want this} and new features of the blog with you, I really have to give a huge huge thank you Shay for doing such a wonderful job. I contacted her after seeing some of her work on designing Love Stitched and I instantly fell in love with her creative style. I am hugely happy with the final result and I really hope you all love it as much as I do!
I also really want to thank my dad, who I know is reading this right now. He worked so hard creating the beautiful blog that you’re all accustomed too, and I had a pretty tough time moving on with a new design. But sometimes change is good, and I hope you’re all going to agree with me on this one!
Ok…so before I go on with the HUGE LAUNCH GIVEAWAY! I want to take you through some of the added features of the blog.
First off is the new community FORUM.
I know often my posts generate discussions, and I think it will be super fun to discuss things not just in the comments section of the blog posts…but also in the forum…behind the scenes so to speak. Comments on blogs are visible to all to see, but the forum requires you to be a registered member. So there is a bit less visibility.
I want to make sure that everyone knows, this place isn’t just for those of us TTC-ing, or those who are pregnant, or just mommas. Its a community for all. If you fall into one of the above three categories then by all means post in those forums. But there is also a general Chat forum for anything and everything, from crafting, diy, recipes etc…
Next up is the new SIDEBAR.
There you can find links to my vendor resources, buttons, submissions link, blogroll and my etsy shop…including the actual etsy goodies {of which I will be adding some new fun merchandise really REALLY soon}.
Speaking of BLOGROLL. I really wanted not just a blogroll page full of links, but one with buttons. I included all the blogs I read on a daily basis, and which I LOVE LOVE LOVE! These blogs are not just really great reads, but the ladies behind the blogs are really lovely too so I encourage you all to go take a look and pay them a little visit.
Last but certainly not least, is the VENDORS page. I come across so many amazing stores, on and offline. And I think sometimes my great finds are lost among the many posts, so now when I really LOVE something I will be putting it into the vendors page, so it will act as a quick reference guide to you all.
Ok! Well I think that about covers the big changes around here, the rest are small mainly esthetic changes. I really want to know what you guys think so please feel free to let me know by email or what not. And if you do find any problems PLEASE email me ASAP!
