One of my favorite moments of our vacation was waking up each morning and heading down to the resort beach.
Last year we took Johannes to Spain with us. I imagined that he would love to get his little toes wet in the sea and giggle at how the sand felt. Unfortunatley, at 5 months old he was more afraid of the water than impressed.
This time, almost a full year later, Johannes relished in the experience. He loved the beach and sat for hours on the shore throwing mud back in the water. It turned out to be that special experience we had hoped for a year ago. Completely memorable for all of us.
