I want to bottle up the essence that is this little 19 month old boy and keep him with me forever.
Johannes has 2 tones…silly-happy or angry-yelling. Two extremes, yet perfectly balanced. The sillyness is my favorite part.
He yells and dances and has this crazy contagious sense of humor. He repeats what I say and then giggles to himself, or he cheers and applauds. He’s shy for the first 2.5 seconds after you meet him and then he will dance and show you the world in its simplest, purest form.
I feel like I’m forever saying “this stage is my favorite”…but THIS stage really IS my favorite! I’ll take all of the tantrums and all of the screaming if it comes with a side dose of silly.
