On Magnus – all items: Rufus & Murdog
On Sunday we took a walk through High Park with Magnus while Johannes was away with my mom and dad. It was the first time Magnus had seen so many fallen leaves on the ground and he had the best time running and tumbling about. The weather was just right, chilly enough for me to wear my favourite chunky cowl neck sweater from Smithery Style but not cold enough to need a toque or jacket.
I met Mavis and Rena of Smithery Style at a Sip&Click last month. For those who haven’t heard of this brilliant shop yet, Smithery is a Canadian e-boutique that curates the best go-to pieces for every body shape, then styles and models them on real women, because not everyone is a size zero model. They even supply the measurements of each model on their website, so you can compare it to your own measurements and know exactly how each piece will fit. Even more brilliant is how the package arrives, wrapped in beautiful paper but included are styling tips for each piece!
The best way to shop the Smithery Style site is to go to their very easy to use Shape Finder, find out which body-type category you fall into and shop the pieces designated for each. I do 90% of my shopping online these days, between naps or school picks, or both depending on the day. Its the reality of busy motherhood, so the fact that Smithery takes the guessing out of buying online is just what I need.
The sweet ladies of Smithery Style are also giving all my readers 20% off your orders for the next week (ending November 4th) using code “bluebird” at checkout.
Also Smithery is co-hosting a unique pop-up experience on Nov 13 from 10am-4pm at 1258 Yonge Street (at Summerhill). Drop in and get your get glam on with personal styling from Smithery, handcrafted jewelry from contemporary jewelry line Liel and Lentz and holiday make-up and hair style recommendations from Green Beauty.
