I used to think protein shakes were boring and only something serious weight-lifters drank. Once I started taking my workouts a little more seriously I began to drink shakes, usually they were grainy and tasteless. But then a fellow Instagrammer {@dicanelo} an inspirational chef and mama of two began to post her super yummy looking healthy protein shake recipes and inspired me to get myself out of my shake rut and do something awesome.
So I began to play around with various recipes and came up with 5 that I love immensely and which I will share with you over the next few weeks.
First up: the best banana almond shake I’ve ever had!

This sounds amazing! And is it just me or do things always taste better out of a jar?
Yum! I REALLY need to step it up with my workouts…meaning actually work out, not just think about it…and clean up my eating. This looks like a delicious way to start!
