Baby books are one of those things that I always mean to do but am not very good at keeping up with. When I was pregnant with Johannes I managed to keep a belly book journal, but after he was born I never filled out either of the 5 baby books I previously bought. To be honest I found they were really detailed and I just couldn’t remember, or really wanted to spend time filling them out. So poor Johannes has a half filled out baby book, and I really hope he won’t hold it against me later on.
I really want to be better at documenting our youngest boy’s first year of life. Have you heard of Mushybooks? They’re the cutest baby books out there, and Lesley, mom and creator of Mushybooks has done the most beautiful job designing them. As a mom of three, she knows how hard it can be to update baby books and made sure all the Mushybooks are curated in a way that’s easy to keep up with.
All the Mushybooks themes are beautiful but I love LOVE the Dreamcatcher theme! Black and white and modern, its simple and clean. I started filling out the first pages already and it seems incredibly easy to answer just a few short questions, so hopefully I shouldn’t have any issues keeping up with updating the book once our little boy comes. You can find Lesley’s shop here if you’d like to see more.
